The Berner International Working Group Meeting

This will be held at 1600 hrs on Thursday at the Woodside. It is open to the persons representing the member clubs of the B-IWG but in the interests of openness it has been agreed in the past that other interested persons may attend as observers subject to space. The B-IWG is an informal group which enables the sections of clubs from across the Bernese world interested in BMD health to get together and "compare notes". The BIWG is not a body with any powers nor any ambition to interfere in any country or club. It is simply a forum to enable the sharing of information between Bernese Mountain Dog breed clubs.

Whilst there is always a little procedural business to complete the main and most interesting part of our meeting is an update from each delegate on how Bernese Health issues are progressing in their club or country.

We are never sure until very close to the event how many people will be attending and so we cannot say until then how much room there will be for any observers. This is why we will place people who wish to attend on a reservation list and notify them nearer the time if they are able to attend. If attending as an observer there will be a small charge to cover the drinks provided by the hotel, (£4).
