Paid up club members will receive full details of all club events in plenty of time to enter. If you do not receive them or any other club mailing you should contact the Membership Secretary. Details are also usually available to download on this page via the links against each event.

Saturday 10th March (other days 9th - 11th)
Ok, its not a club event in the total sense but the club does have an official presence at the ringside of the Bernese judging at the world's biggest dog show. You can renew or take out membership, ask about the club or breed and of course purchase Bernese related items from our Bernershop. Each year the club will normal y have three stands, and, as well as look at the Bernese, members will, as usual, be able to collect their latest mailing which will include the new handbook.

The Garden Party is basically a big happy Funday for families with Bernese. There are lots of fun and novelty classes and parades as well as working events such as carting, agility and obedience. It is an excellent chance for prospective owners to meet Bernese and their owners, ask questions and make contacts for puppies. Much more relaxed than a show and most people have much more time to talk.
For those who are camping or staying nearby the fun now starts the previous evening with a BBQ and "Pre Garden Party Party" but places must be booked for this in advance on the camping form
It is simply a pleasant family day out with your dog and only 5 minutes from the M1 junction 15.
Remember, there are lots and lots of dog shows and events but only ONE Garden Party.
(Thursday 10th May) IN VIEW OF THE ONGOING GROUND CONDITIONS AND POTENTIAL WEATHER FORECAST WE HAVE BEEN MONITORING THE SITE AND THE FORECAST. AFTER SPEAKING TO THE GROUND MANAGER TODAY
WE ARE VERY HAPPY TO CONFIRM THAT THE GARDEN PARTY AND THE SATURDAY EVENING EVENT WILL GO AHEAD AS PLANNED.
THE WEEK-END WEATHER FORECAST IS COMPLETELY DRY WITH SUNSHINE SO WE CAN REALISTICALLY HOPE FOR A ANOTHER GREAT GARDEN PARTY EVENT ON A DRYING SURFACE. THE GROUND IS VERY WELL DRAINING AND WELL ESTABLISHED AND THEY HAVE NEVER HAD TO CANCEL AN EVENT DUE THE GROUND CONDITIONS.
PLEASE PARK AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE GROUND AND DRIVE VERY CAREFULLY ON THE WET GROUND SO AS TO AVOID DAMAGING IT WITH UNNECESSARY SKID/TYRE MARKS. IF YOU'VE BOOKED FOR SATURDAY EVENING DON'T FORGET TO BRING ACROSS YOUR CHAIR AND DRINKS (AND POSSIBLY YOUR OWN TABLE IF YOU WANT ONE. THE FUN STARTS AT AROUND 5.00 PM.

Championship Show and 5 Class Limited Obedience Show
The Kennel Club Building, Stoneleigh Park, Nr Kenilworth, Warwickshire CV8 2LZ
Situated between major motorways the KC building at Stoneleigh Park is located 5 minutes off the A46 dual carriageway which links the M40 (junction 15) with the M69 and M6 (junction 2).
The entrance to Stoneleigh Park is on the B4113 Stoneleigh Road between Coventry and Leamington Spa which is easily accessed from the A46 following the signs for "Stoneleigh Park" "National Agricultural Centre" or "NAC" OR from the A45 following the signs for "Stoneleigh". Once inside the site please follow directions and use the designated car park.

Club Statement
Please note that following a committee review of overall club finances in January 2012 it was reluctantly realised and accepted that the club could no longer afford to carry on running the working/fun/match day as part of the Championship show week-end. The cost of holding this relatively poorly supported day at the prime Championship Show venues, wherever that might be, is not a realistic financial burden for the club to carry on bearing and, combined with the fact that for 2012 we are much understaffed in committee making a large week-end event very difficult to manage, the decision to change was unavoidable.
The plan is to relaunch the Working Day and look at new ways the club can support the Working side of the breed and especially the carting groups. We have already met with and asked the carting group for ideas of how we can support them and await their response. We hope to do this as part of a new Working week-end event run in conjunction with the carters and also hope to be able to announce more details in the near future. We hope to take this as an opportunity to look for new ways of supporting all the working aspects of our breed.
The exact make up of the Championship Show day is not yet finalised and we may still hold social events around it for those staying at the venue.
