or can be downloaded from the link below.

The Club's Spring or Northern Open Show has been held in the village of Grenoside, North of Sheffield  since about 2003 and it has always been a popular venue. Less than 10 minutes from the M1, with a large car park and adjacent public park to walk dogs in, the venue is much sought after by dog clubs and first choice of dates can be difficult to obtain. The room is just about large enough for a single ring show like this and the views from the window looking down and across the city of Sheffield and its 7 hills (just like Rome eh!) are a bonus for many. Just like last year there are some fantastic rosettes on offer and the club lays on excellent home made type refreshments, the Bernershop, music and a happy relaxed ambience which has been commented on by visitors every single year. All in all a fantastic little day out with your Bernese whether you are a more serious exhibitor or just like to visit club events.

For 2012 Dave Hardy as Show Secretary for the second time, and our Judge, voted for by member's vote, is American Lisa Ebnet of the von der Ebnet affix.

For the 4th time at this show we will be holding the Special Member's Awards during the Lunch break. These are like additional classes for you to exhibit in (except under KC rules they can't be officially be called classes) and give you an extra chance to exhibit your dog. There are rosettes for 1st to 5th and our judge for these classes is Lena Pawlyszyn and there are 4 separate Awards for Puppy, Junior, Post Grad and Open. You have to be entered in a class in the main show to be able to enter these "classes" and need to enter in advance on your entry form. If you are beaten in these classes it does not count against your eligibility for BIS if you have won elsewhere in the main show. More details are on the front inside cover  of the schedule.

Schedules have been sent to all Members in a routine club mailing but if you need an extra version or an additional entry form please click on the appropriate link below.
