...................Online Payment for Seminar and evening events and show.
In order to take payment for the International Seminar and other events (Sunday Match Entry, Jubilee Dinner, Saturday evening Bern Knees Up Party etc ) over this special week-end the club has arranged for payment to be taken online via the show entry system. There is a charge made by the system of just £1 (GBP) for this service. This does mean that you have to click a couple of boxes as if you are entering the show but hopefully it is not too difficult. There are instructions in several languages but our event is slightly different to the normal entry.
You have to enter into the system as if you are entering a dog but of course you do not have to enter a dog to attend the seminar or any of the evening events. Before you go to the site to enter and pay for the seminar you should be looking at the seminar leaflet or our web site with breakdown details of the events so you know what the options refer to.
If you are not familiar with this site we suggest you print off this page of step by step instructions to assist you.
1] You should go to www.fossedata.com
2] Then scroll down to find "The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain - 24th September" Click on "Enter online"
3] You then go to the entry page for the site giving some details of how to use it, click "ENTER THE SITE"
4] You now have the option to change the language if you wish, using the flags at the top of the screen.
5] If you are already a registered user of the site carry on as normal
6] If you are a new user you need to register with Fosse Data before you can proceed. This means you have to click on "I am a New User"
7] You now have a screen where you enter a user name for yourself, your email and a password, which you repeat. Then click on "Next"
8] You now have a screen where you enter your full name and address details, Then click on "Next"
9] You now have to enter the basic details of a dog. This can be any dog, entering details here does not enter the dog in the show. However this dog should show a date of birth making him older than 6 months on the day of the show. Click on "New Dog"
10] Enter the details of any single dog you wish. Then click on "Next"
11] You now go to a page offering you the name of the dog you have entered. Then click on "NEXT"
12] You are now offered a list of shows you could enter with the date that entries close. Scroll down to Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain 24th September 2011" Click on "Enter online" (Note that the larger date is the closing date for entries and not the date of the show - the shows are now listed in order of closing date NOT the date of the show).
13] You now have a page with all your details on as they would appear in the dog show catalogue. You must click the little box to say "I am the owner or I have the full permission of all the owners in the partnership to enter the dog(s) into this show" Then click on "Next"
14] You are now on the summary page for your entry and payments. If you were entering a dog in the Championship Show you would use the Dog Entry link from this page. To pay for and book tickets to the other events you need to scroll down to the button which says "Make Purchases". Click on "Make Purchases"
15] You now have a list of options, the top half relate mainly to membership but in the bottom half of the list you will find the other options for our weekend. Simply enter how many of each you wish to purchase in the boxes. When you have finished click on "NEXT"
16] You are now back at the summary page and the choices you have just made should be listed under "Purchases on this form" If you are happy with these click on "Complete Entry"
17] You are now at a page where you need to scroll down and click on the box next to "I/We agree to the above". If you haven't entered any dogs we know it is a meaningless statement for you but you have to click on it for procedure. Then click on "To proceed with your entry and make a payment click here"
18] You now get a page clarifying your payment and informing you emails you will receive after payment. Click on "Continue"
19] You now have a page where you enter your payment card details. Enter them and click on "Pay Now"
20] You will then have a security page depending on your card and then a summary page with a transaction number, as is normal for internet payments. You can click on "Continue" but you will only be taken back to the list of shows to enter so that's it. You have paid for your choices.
After payment please download and complete an entry form with your full details on and forward to the Seminar Secretary at 2011seminarsecretary@bernese.co.uk to assist our planning and confirm details and to ensure you are listed in the seminar booklet.
