New BMD Breed Book
The club is pleased to pass on details of this quality new book on the breed by Italian Bernese owner and breeder Silvana Vogel Tedeschi. The book is an important and significant book for English speaking Bernese enthusiasts as it includes many of the historical and developmental facts about the breed never before available in English. It includes a translation of the first paper written on the breed by the man widely acknowledged as being its founder, Dr Albert Heim.
This substantial book is set to become a definitive publication for our breed with, what for most of us in the UK at least, is lots of information concerning the Bernese Mountain Dog and its heritage available for the first time in the English language.
