Sue Toms

The club was deeply saddened by the news of the death of Sue Toms, a sitting committee member, on January 7th 2010.

The funeral was held on Friday January 29th at West Herts Crematorium and there was a very good attendance from Sue's Bernese based friends. Husband Roy has asked for the following note to be posted.

Sue's Funeral 

     On behalf of myself and family we would like to say thank you to everyone who attended Sue’s funeral.

      I would say well over a hundred people gathered at the Chapel to say their farewells to Sue, truly a humbling experience for all of us. Sue would have been so touched by everyone’s support and kind words and for those who couldn’t attend I fully understand. 

      Please accept this as my deepest thanks and appreciation to everyone.

The club's continuing sympathy and thoughts go out to Roy and his family as they continue to come to terms with their great loss.
