Most of the navigation around the
whole site is via links placed on
a button like this
found down the side or at the bottom of a page or you can use the
normal back and forward buttons on your browser. Most pages have a link back to
this page at the bottom as well as a link back to the page you came from. Using
these links you can fairly quickly move around the web site to where you want to
be. If you get lost come back to this contents page and start again.
The contents roughly break down into three areas, please scroll down this page to the area you are interested in or click on the appropriate link.
The
first is current news and issues - things you definitely need to know
about. This could be details of forthcoming events, reports on recent events, closing dates
for entries etc or
news of missing Bernese or, fortunately only very occasionally, warnings about significant outbreaks of diseases we
may have heard about on our Bernwatch page. Sometimes people are seeking your
help for health surveys or lobbying or asking for support in other ways.
The
second category is
information about the breed, the club, details of
forthcoming events from ourselves or other clubs, health related topics and
anything else we can think of that visitors might want to know.
The
third section contains reports of club events and activities, as we
accumulate them these will build into a record of the club and the breed in
Britain over the years.
